Classical movement. Metabolic strength. A stronger body.

After taking the summer off, Ballet Burn returns this fall.

Originally created by Linda Abel in 2016, Ballet Burn has become a highly requested part of her movement programming. This fall, we’re returning to the movements you love bringing the precision, control and elegance of classical ballet into Metabolic Strength.

60 minutes. Low impact. All levels. No ballet experience required.
BALLET BURN IS BACK FOR FALL

We took a break for the summer.

Now it’s time to move again.

Ballet Burn grew from Linda’s own love of ballet and her appreciation for the way classical movement develops strength, posture, alignment and body awareness.

The class combines slow, intentional movement, muscular control and classical ballet technique for a workout that feels graceful while still challenging the body.

No jumping. No complicated choreography. No ballet background required.

WHAT IS BALLET BURN?

Grace is the method.

Strength is the result.

Ballet Burn is a 60-minute ballet-inspired strength and conditioning class incorporating classical movements such as pliés, tendus, arabesques and port de bras with core work, mobility and controlled muscular endurance.

The movements may look graceful.

THE WORK IS REAL

Slow tempos, repetition, isometric holds and precise positioning create sustained muscular tension while challenging balance, stability and control.

The result is a workout designed to leave you feeling stronger, more aligned, more mobile and more connected to your body.

WHY BALLET BURN?

THE DISCIPLINE OF BALLET.

The capacity of strength.

STRENGTH + MUSCULAR ENDURANCE

Controlled repetitions and sustained holds challenge the legs, glutes, core, shoulders and arms while building muscular endurance.

POSTURE + ALIGNMENT

Classical ballet emphasizes intentional positioning from head to toe, helping develop greater postural awareness and control.

BALANCE + STABILITY

Precise movement challenges the supporting muscles involved in balance, coordination and stability.

LOW IMPACT CONDITIONING

Ballet Burn delivers a challenging workout without relying on jumping, pounding or high-impact movement.

CORE CONTROL

Core strength, alignment and trunk control are integrated throughout the workout.

GRACE + STRENGTH

Ballet Burn combines athletic strength with the precision and elegance of classical movement.
